 Ahmadu Bello University Zaria was a school of the Spirit for me as it was for several others. I meet with men who mentored and Molded me. Bishop Stanley Ajayi (who offered and mentored me in my first leadership role on Campus), Bro. Duncan Emmanuel Dinfa, (who was for me a well of Wisdom), Bro.Iduda Emmanuel and Thomas Gana, who taught me about prayer, Bro. Folurunsho (whom I first learnt about divine health from). Pastor Jacob Adeyinka (whose inter-personal skills i admired greatly), Prophet Jesse Jangfa who believed in me and encouraged me when others doubted. Apostle Joshua Selman, from whom I saw manifestations of the Holy Spirit I never taught were possible. I also heard about Kenneth Copeland from His lips. I read God's general but He was the closest to them that I knew. Pastor Chingtok Ibrahim Ishaku, I saw passion for God and love for men. My hunger for more fellowship with the Holy Spirit led me to want to read every book about Him. One day, at the F.C.S. book stand I saw some book titles of Kenneth E. Hagin, I quickly paid for this one with the desire to know more about the Holy Spirit. As I read, I was amazed at the depth of understanding shared. I told a friend Panmun Emmanuel Gumwan , that I had met a person who knew Scriptures just like Apostle Paul does. Dad Hagin became my major teacher of the Word. His classic, "I believe in Vision" opened me to strange realms of encounters. In some cases, I was also having the same visions. Zoe, the God kind of life became a message I learnt to preach verbatim. That was my Journey into the family of Faith, I read all His books I could find and latter attended Rhema Bible Training Center Kaduna Nigeria (Kenneth Hagin's Bible School). After secondary school, I gained admission to SBRS Funtua, Katsina State. I stayed in Samira Hostel(off Campus). I would go to mountains behind Samira to pray and desire for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (I actually didn't know what I wanted, I just felt inadequate and I wanted more). I didn't know what the experience was all about however, I saw a mention of it in Mountain of Fire and Miracle's magazine. When I came to A.B.U. Zaria for undergraduate studies, It seemed every believer I met spoke in tongues. I wanted the experience even more. I went out for every opportunity to be prayed for so I can receive but I didn't. Finally, i heard about Benny Hinn's good morning Holy Spirit, I went to the F.C.S. Library and was able to get "The Anointing" by Same Author. While I was reading it, Pst. Benny, mentioned that you can't seek the anointing without an in filling of the Holy Spirit. I began to seek again, immediately, I felt a rushing wind come ...

F.C.S. B.U.K. Staff Secondary School played a key role in my development. I would go home immediately after school hours on Friday. But immediately, I got born again, going for F. C.S. fellowship became interesting. Soon I became the Evangelical secretary and latter the Fellowship President. These roles shaped me for the years to come. The Day I will never forget. I had gone out for Evangelism, aimed at stopping people from going home so they could attend fellowship, suddenly a brother (Korede), came to call me. He said, " we are waiting for you to start fellowship, you are to lead the opening prayer". I almost sank. It was my first time. I went through the front door. Covered my face with my two hands but left some space for my mouth. I muttered some words and got out of the stage. Till date can't remember what I said. Looking back, I am so thankful. That was the beginning of overcoming stage fright and taking up more Pulpit roles and responsibilities. I preached...

My mom had a collection of the Christian Mirror..they shaped my life. I would read them and be captivated by the excellent way the Gospel is presented there in. I would repent over and over. They placed the fear of God in my heart and helped to start the journey of Holiness though with falling and rising. God bless Daddy W.F. Kumuyi, Mummy, F. The Gideon's Bible was my first encounter with the Bible as a child in primary school. I opened it to read and I noticed at the beginning pages, "where to find Help" with Scriptures written for easy reference. As I child , I would so easily fall into trouble either at home or at school. It was one day one trouble. Gideon's Bible saved me. I noticed that any time I use the "where to find Help" portion and read the verses about trouble, I would escape punishment. I noticed if I read these scriptures during exam seasons I performed better. It was imprinted in my heart that the Bible was a book of solutions and it became dear to my heart.
